The trendy stuff I couldn’t resist not to try.
On the first attempt asking chatGPT to create the caricature of my handsome self it tried to insult me by calling me a faceless potato, asking quetions.
so when I did some actual effort writing a prompt it understood me quite well, even provided me with an extra pair of hands. love the designated wine hand.

Nine years ago, I was on my way to Paris for my first exhibition, presenting my Trotting Collection at the temple of racing Paris-Vincennes Hippodrome
It ended up a great success and another exhibition two years later with countless amazing people and horses met on the way.

This was meant to be a year recap of my artistic work, but instead I let my heart speak and let 2025 flow with ease.

Everything I created came from intuition. I’m a crap business person, and that probably makes me a great creator. My intuition never let me down. It warned me of danger, pointed me in the right direction, even when the whole world said nope. Many times I betrayed it myself, because I thought, not felt, I should listen to the cool minds. I don’t regret it. I only regret not learning the lessons sooner. It’s been an incredible year, and only thanks to a few very special people who stood by me in the hardest moments I made it through with my head up. Something shifted. The people around me became more true, open. I let go of those with dirty intentions, pushed opinions, and mental weight they drove onto me. I feel lighter. More comfortable. The truth is naked. You most likely already know it, but you choose those convenient to you, or oblivion, call it whatever you want.

I’m here stripped of dirt. Open heart. Still boiling brain. Learning isn’t easy. But I’m thankful. Thankful to those who were with me and stood for me. Thankful for every lesson learned, every scar bled, every tear fallen.

Last year I shared similar feelings, but I didn’t realise yet that I was still living by the rules of others. I gave more chances. I stayed silent when it itched to tell them to fuck off. We lived on each other’s blood. Those who know my real self know how deeply I defend the truth, and how much it hurts to see people turn away because they listened to someone else’s crap. When you have no chance to defend yourself and only see backs already turned, what can you do?

Now I let them. I let toxic people show their true faces without my involvement. I let people think what they want, agree out of convenience if they wish. I can’t change that.

The last drop this year was a life-threatening accident. A clean sign to slow down and return to the original promise I made to myself. Be self. Be for myself. Only be around people who make me feel right. A silly stumble that could have left me dead or paralysed. Again, I ignored my intuition. I gave it another chance. While recovering, I finally pulled the plug and drowned it without saying a word.

I got free.

I am still free.

And I will try to stay free.

Now I observe. I connect events. I draw lines. I’m proud of how much faster I recognise the bad and walk away with less emotion. Sometimes without saying a word. No panic. No explanations. I leave people with their own mess.

2025 brought an incredible amount of opportunities. I took almost all of them by the horns. The bad ones I screamed through in tears. The good ones I carry with pride.

I hope she settles well with posh Coolmore ladies and produces more speedy royally bred babies!

Irish Olympic rider MARK KYLE and his three Olympic and two Word Equestrian Games team of horses I can finally reveal a piece I have been working on for the past six weeks.. its been an honour for me to get this commissioned in first place and even bigger honour to be invited to present painting in person at Mark’s 50th Birthday party. ” I have no words.. ” was first comment from the birthday boy.. this is literally best compliment I could ever receive as an artist.. I really enjoyed working on this complex composition, from photos gathered in family albums and news archives. I am not going to lie I love this painting and how it turned out taken old photos. it’s been a challenge and I done it with smile from beginning to the end

I couldn’t wait to share some wonderful story with you.. 
A couple of days ago I was invited to do a photoshoot at a local yard, when one of the models turned up and gave me a glance with his magical charismatic eyes.. wow.. who are you pet? 
Blake is a rescue with unknown past and age, looks like an import of some sort due to a very distinct freezebrand on his upper neck.. a polo pony? maybe something else, we don’t know, but is got his forever loving home now that is what matters.
Wait… I know this freezbrand, I think I know his breed !!  do you mind me  to investigate?

 Given a green light I immediately texted my friend Dawn, who is campaigning to protect standardbred freezbranding in US. Photo of the  brand, hope, wait…  
  my phone screen blinked in jsut few minutes and ..
is this really happening? 
I got full report for the horse by Western Ideal that was born in NJ, sold to Canada then exported  to Ireland buyer, a familiar name again? 
 I am  messaging  owner of the Meadowbranch Stables, potentially those who may confirm.. attaching the photo of the suspect and  YES.. 
  In  one lucky moment horse got not just outstanding  royal pedigree by Western Ideal, but he also got his full beautiful name See My Reflection,  birthday to celebrate, he turned out to be 17, and warm words from his previous ownership for whom he won some very prestigious races in UK an Ireland ..  few years of his story then missing, but..
It’s a happy end with two souls found each other in Ireland! 
and tell me I don’t have amazing job! I meet so many wonderful stories along the way!

I love everything about this painting starting from secret photoshoot pretending to be a passer-by on the beach that autumn morning, to every single secret update, while the cheeky eye was eyeing me from the easel every day 🙂 then Santa wasn’t too patient and the painting was presented a little in advance of Christmas morning, then happy smiles!! I will be living, again and again, all these positive emotions for years as I will look at these pictures of a final result :)All these things are making my job oh so worthwhile <3

recent lot of nameplates completed

This was fairly complicated painting to complete due to very limited amount of photos and the reference extremely pixelated dark and dull. I would normally refuse to work from photos like that but I do like challenge. Veston went over the rainbow before Christmas 2019 and this painting was presented to his loving owner a year later.. loads of tears of course as expected.
Happy wih the result 🙂

another amazing week spent in Paris!
This time I brought 11 paintings with me and the amount of compliments received is just heartwarming <3

I t’s been a privilege to be invited by @LeTrot to paint winner of the GNT Paris Turf series winner. Given just two hours to complete the painting for presentation to the winning owner was a little bit stressful at the start, but I must admit I’m delighted with the result.
🐎 Elvis Madrik – winner of the #GNT series modelled for me today during live session in Club Uranie of Vincennes.
I was accompanied by many admirers and one of the kids gave wise advice to add a whip in left hand of the driver 😂 I did!
Many thanks to my friend Anne Beatrice for her assistance and entertainment of my visitors, giving me opportunity to totally focus on work.. I did it!

dreams come true…
Not every day you are getting invited to the most amazing trotting event at world’s most amazing trotting track..
Not in my wildest dreams could I have imagined that my paintings will be displayed at Hippodrome de Vincennes never mind Prix d’Amérique Opodo weekend.. I still have goosebumps and I still can’t believe this all is real..
I would like to thank everyone who helped me in preparation of this exhibition, you know yourselves, you are amazing friends and your support means a lot to me! But most of all I would like to thank Le Trot for this opportunity of a lifetime and especially Emmanuelle Morvillers for kicking me into this dream coming true 🙂 and of course main person who invited me here Mme Marie-France Wissocq ❤

Back to reality after my annual work trip to Spain, pity I forgot to pack some heat with me because Irish summer is when you need to grab rain jacket before you go out in the sun lol freezing!

I would like to thank every single person who made my trip so wonderful! I simply couldn’t wish for more! <3
In few days I drove over 700km to different locations covering beautiful lands of Andalucia, many times I had to stop and just adore the views..
Thanks to those taking care of my painful self, I’m finally on antibiotics and hopefully feeling better soon (aircons are evil!!)
I have now massive amount of work in the office to do..thousands of photos to sort .. and of course ekhm I am supposed to be painting too 🙂
I am now resuming normal work here in Ireland, so please don’t’ be shy and book your sessions and paintings on time!
